Seoul Diaries DAY-4 Jamsil Stadium and Camping for Merch

JSDSHKHSDSK!

This can probably describe my feeling best at that moment. On the evening of 24th August I started camping for the BTS LY Tour merch and let me tell you, it's not easy. For starters, it was the rainy season so you must pack a mat, raincoat, lots of water and food. The reason being I was dehydrated "Severely" by the end of it.

Moving on me and my twitter mutual started met up and obviously meeting a fellow army made my fangirl jump out and we discussed the concert and since it was the first concert of Love Yourself Tour, we had no idea what we were going to be blessed with. We couldn't sit for almost 5 hours since the security team there was trying to manage the line hence it was moving again and again.

But the best part of the whole thing was at six that day BTS released a new MV, IDOL and damn listening to it with a whole crowd reacting at the same time was AMAZING!

After approx six hours of just standing, my legs were burning and the tiredness of the day hit me so to freshen up I went to the nearest store and almost panicked on seeing cold coffee brew and coke bottles of BTS and got as many as I can. Also, I got myself water, chocolate, and raincoat just in case.

While I was walking back I saw another JK Bday as on the bus stop. By around 12-ish we were all settled and spread out mat down and sat on it sighing in relief. But we can't sleep yet because another advantage of camping out is getting free stuff from fans there. Some armys give out free slogans, photo cards, lenticular cards to camping armys and it's absolutely delightful.

Also, 25th is my brother's birthday so I called him up at 12 to wish him and tell him about the huge line that I am in. He was just amazed at the things I do for BTS. Everything was calm and peaceful till 2:30am when we heard cheering and shouting and we all got up to see familiar black cars and because I was way back from the gate I only spotted the heads but BLESS US ALL! BTS was there for practice at that hour!

I freaked out for almost 20 minutes since I saw Namjoon walking in after almost hopping as high as I could. So naturally all the sleep was gone and I and my friend were talking all over again about BTS. I didn't get an ounce of sleep but by the time sun was rising all my eating supplies was gone and so was water. Armys around was as beautiful as ever and were busy freshening up, reapplying lip color and stuff while I sat there looking like a total panda with no sleep.

Thankfully they started selling water bottles there because the sun was shining right on the head and it was damn humid.

By 8:30 the samples merch was out and we were freaking out at how cute it was deciding what to buy and what not to buy since I wanted to be a practical buyer. But that didn't happen so...

At nine the stalls opened and the line started moving but if that sounds hopeful then don't believe it. because I had around 500 hundred armys ahead of me so we were just dragging our feet. I was glad that my ticket was for the second day because right now I was totally exhausted. But the practice going on inside and the songs blaring through the stadium could be heard and that made all the exhaustion go away. Also we spotted the member special air balloons. Honestly I was only able to snap one picture because I was totally exhausted at this point.

By 1 in the afternoon I was literally feeling hungry and thirsty and in severe need to sit but the line kept moving slowly so now we can't spread the mat and sit. It has been already almost been 18+ hours since I have been standing. My friend had the ticket for the same day so she had to leave at three after 22 hours of camping because she had to go back and shower and stuff and then come back by 5 to get inside the stadium.

When there were almost 10 girls in front of me I was feeling dizzy and was about to faint. But I would say that this was partially my fault since I was not well prepared. Most of the girls were great and well equipped with food and water. So thankfully I got water from a fellow army. Also, the staff noticed that I was kind of dizzy so they ask if I wanted to be escorted out since they keep Ambulance on standby.

But I was not giving up now so I finally got in the merch line after 25 hours of queueing up. And I got the stuff though one thing I wanted was sold out, the power bank.

After I got the merch I couldn't move I was so exhausted and the bts crew at the merch stall was so kind to me and gave me water bottles. I called my father because I was not sure if I could make it home in this condition with a 50 minutes metro travel ahead of me. I just sat there till he came because my nerves with literally numb after all that standing and yet I was incredibly happy.

My dad picked me up at the metro station and THANK THE LORDS he got my food and water. As I got back home all my adrenaline was drained and I just told my parents and brother about what I did. And after washing up I literally just fell asleep.

I did woke up again just to stroll out in the neighborhood by 10 at night but that was just for peace of mind and nothing eventful happened.

Because the major event was going to happen tomorrow. D-DAY for the LY TOUR CONCERT .
